SWAddIn VB Project TemplateThe SolidWorks 2001Plus API introduces the SWAddIn interface. This interface allows Visual Basic-compiled DLLs to be loaded and run as SolidWorks add-ins through the SolidWorks Add-In Manager. The free Bitwright SWAddIn VB Project Template is a complete prototype SWAddIn application. When the template is installed in the Visual Basic Template\Projects folder, an SWAddIn icon appears in the Visual Basic New Project dialog box. Selecting this icon and clicking OK creates a new SWAddIn Project in Visual Basic. Extensive comments throughout the Template explain how to program and register an SWAddIn application.
