Add-In MakerBitwright Add-In Maker puts any standalone program — like your Visual Basic-compiled EXE — under the control of the SolidWorks Add-In Manager. The SolidWorks Add-In Manager provides a single dialog box through which SolidWorks users can control the loading and unloading of add-in programs — including automatic loading at SolidWorks startup. Bitwright Add-In Maker creates DLLs that form a link between the SolidWorks Add-In Manager and any program compiled to run under Win32 — including EXEs compiled by Visual Basic. These DLLs have a simple mission: they launch the specified program when they are loaded, and close that program when they are unloaded. Add-in DLLs created with Bitwright Add-In Maker appear in the SolidWorks Add-In Manager dialog box. During a SolidWorks session, the Add-In Manager will load and unload these add-in DLLs — starting and stopping the specified programs — according to the state of the Add-In Manager check boxes. A single Bitwright Add-In Maker installation can create add-in DLLs for an unlimited number of programs. Like all Bitwright products, Add-In Maker is available with a free 30-day evaluation license. Add-In Maker is fully functional throughout this period. At the end of the evaluation period, Add-In Maker will stop working unless the evaluation license has been upgraded with a License Key purchased from Bitwright Software.
